a section of YYY in FIG. one; in fig. a section dd in fig. one; FIG. Support plate, side view; FIG. in fig. 8 - end surface of the support plate.
Plate cylinder 1 contains at least one tapering along the radius to the periphery and open on the peripheral surface of the cylinder 1 20
groove 2 and means for fastening two ends of grooves 2 and 3 and 4 stereotypes 5 and 6, respectively, with one, the same for both ends 3 and 4 stereotypes 25 5 and 6, tension band 7, which is set to the bottom with its base
the groove 2 can be rotated around an axis parallel to the axis of the cylinder
I, and narrows along the radius to the periphery surface of the plate cylinder 1, located in the groove 2, between its wall and the tension bar 7, and the clamping means cooperating with it, located
between the tension bar 7 and the other wall of the groove 2 with gaps for the ends of stereotypes 5 and 6, the clamping element 8, mounted on the bottom of the groove 2 with its base. The clamping means includes hydraulic pistons 10 arranged in a wall 2 of a hole 2 and a support plate 45 located between this wall of a groove 2 and a tension bar 7
Ii. The tension bar 7 is made in
wedge-shaped with a rounded base 12, the height of the clamping element 8 is less than the height of the wall of the groove 2. The slope of the surface 13 of the tension bar 7, 59
in contact with the end 4 of the stereotype 6, is preferably
75 One of the edges 14 of the groove 2 is rounded at a radius of .1, 4 - 1.8 mm. The surface of the clamping element 8, 55
facing the wall of the groove 2 is stepped and the protrusion 15 contacts this wall of the groove 2, and the height of the step is equal to the thickness of the stereotype 5
or 6, the free end 16 of the clamping element 8 has L-shaped form.
The plate cylinder 1 has locking devices mounted on each of its ends, including bolts 18 installed in the stepped holes 17 and hermetic plugs 19 that close the heads of these bolts.
In addition, the cylinder 1 has a support element 20 for clamping means, located in the groove 2, the free surface 21 of which is made along the radius of the cylinder 1. Eight bolts 18 are provided for each carrier element 20 (figure 1).
Plate cylinder works as follows.
Plate cylinder. 1 rotates along arrow E (fig ^ 4); when the groove 2 (or its slot) passes the printing cylinder (not shown), the edge 14 of the cylinder 1 is the starting point of the onset, while the other edge 22 of the carrier 20 is the end of the onset action. The edge 22 is also slightly rounded from 1.4 to 1.8 mm (preferably 1.6 mm), and it is complemented by a rounded tapered end of the tension bar 7, which is processed together with the edge of the supporting element 20 after assembly. The angle L- at the edge 14 is less than 90 ° (preferably 75), the angle p is more than 90 ° (preferably 105 °).
After the ends 3 and 4 enter the groove 2, · the stereotypes 5 and 6 are clamped due to the fact that the hydraulic pistons 10 of each carrier element 20 are connected to an external source of pressure. The tension bar 7 deflects counterclockwise under the action of the pistons 10 (FIG. 4), with the narrow end of the bar 7 being separated from the wall of the groove 2 by a small segment. Thus, the tension and fixing of both ends of the stereotypes in each groove occur simultaneously under the action of the pistons 10, acting on strips 7. Since. with their narrow parts, the strips 7 practically reach the very cylindrical shell and if they deviate the trajectory of their movement strictly along it, then at the onset of stereotypes do not receive any deformation from the edges or rounded substrates. In addition, a hydraulic device

in the works of the forces acting on the stereotype and allows for flawless and strong interference, which is important for hard nikleevyh pe- 5 both print forms.
Pistons 10 with sealing rings 23 begin to work when they are pressed by a force through the bearing element 20, while they are pushing
bar 7 (Fig. 4), causing it to turn. For the free movement of the pistons 10, recesses 24 are provided in the support plate 11 through which the pistons 10 can freely pass. 15 All cylindrical holes 9 of each element 20 are individually piped 25 connected to a common collector 26 passing in the cylinder 1 in the axial direction, which 20 is led to a closed inlet 27 located in the end of cylinder 1 (FIG. 6) and connected to an external pressure source . Piping 25, the collector 26 and the pipe 25
27 are placed in the element 20, the ends of which pass through the ends of cylinder 1 and are available on the flanges
28 and 29. Inside ends
pipelines 25 with a collector 26 30
closed threaded pin 30. Thus, in the bearing element 20 assembled the entire hydraulic system of the device.
Before superimposing stereotypes 5 and 6 on the cylinder 1, the clamping means is in the position (FIG. 3), in which the pistons 10 are drawn from the boundary wall of the groove 2, and the tension bar 7 with its narrow end fits to the outer edge of the groove 2 of the element
20. When mounting stereotypes 5 and 6, the ends 3 and 4, bent appropriately, after superimposing stereotypes 5 and 6 on the forming surface of cylinder 1 are inserted into the gap so that the end 3 of the stereo type 5 falls into the gap between element 8 and the wall groove 2, and the end of 4 stereotype 6 - between the element 8 and the tension bar 7.
To ensure perfect fit of the end 4 to the tension bar 7, its surface 13, which is the pressure surface, is fitted to the curvature of the stereotype 6 due to the undercut 55 of the radial segment inside. When an edge is formed on the inner end of a curved segment of the surface, a ν-shaped shape is given in order
to increase the influence of the clip on the end of the stereotype that passes over this edge. To enter the other end 3, the clamping element 8 is made stepped so that the upper cut of the element 8, which occupies a greater height of the element, is separated from the wall of the groove 2 by about the thickness of the stereotype, and the lower part of the element 8 adjoins this wall. The end 3 also assumes a ν-shape due to the corresponding ν-shape of the wall of the groove 2 and element 8. In order to maintain the tension bar 7 in a fixed position after tension, a support plate 11 is provided (Fig. 7 and 8). The latter, at its ends, passing through the ends of cylinder 1, has consoles 31 installed at right angles with threaded holes 32 accessible thanks to the corresponding cutouts in flanges 28 and 29 (Fig. 5). The prefix 31 (FIG. 5) enters the corresponding slot 33 in the carrier element 20, the ends of which pass through the ends of the cylinder 1. A screw 34 is screwed into each hole 32, which rests on the base of the socket 33. To achieve the wedge effect, the radial outer surface of the plate 11, facing plank 7, rounded. The plate 11 is in a raised locking position (Fig. 5). After that, the pistons 10 is terminated by pressure and the hydraulic system is disconnected from an external pressure source.
For the proposed plate cylinder, a groove 2 of small width is needed, in the form of a narrow slit on the generator of cylinder 1, which can accommodate the narrow end of the bar 7 and both ends 3 and 4 of the stereotypes 5 and 6 with sufficient clearance necessary for tension. The width of the slit (Fig. 4) around the circumference should be 4-5 times the thickness of the stereotype. Due to this, the cylinder circumference is used optimally for stereotypes and the gaps, undesirable for role-playing machines, are reduced to a minimum. In addition, at the location of the ends of the stereotypes, the mechanical strength of the cylinder at the deflection is fully preserved, even with a large onslaught occurring when printing from engravings (5000-6000 n / cm).

One or several stereotypes can be placed on the form cylinder; for this, an appropriate number of slots and the specified devices are needed.
The plate cylinder can be equipped with a heating and cooling system, with the help of which, after the stereotypes are clamped, the heating or cooling by the circulating coolant or cooler is carried out. To do this, in the body of the cylinder 1 near the cylindrical shell provided pipelines 35 (Fig. 1, 2 and 5), distributed evenly along the circumference. In flanges 28 and 29, pipelines 35 are connected in pairs by connecting channels 36 parallel to the circumference line (FIG.
2 and 5) so that in each half of cylinder 1, bounded on both sides by slots 2, a heating and cooling coil is obtained. Radial pipes 37 (Fig. 1, 2 and 5) the beginning and end of the heating and cooling coils are connected to an axial collector 38 located in the axle shaft 39 (Fig. 1 and 2), which consists, for example, of an internal channel with a coolant or cooler and a return channel, which can serve as its external channel. The proposed plate cylinder is especially suitable for collaboration with a printing cylinder carrying a blanket fixed in a narrow groove, as well as for stretching stereotypes on one side and keeping them in a stable position when working with high pressure applied from the printing cylinder.
